SEPTEMBER EVENT RECAP | Booking Big Business Beyond the Wedding

September's event was a great success, and so informative! Topic was "Booking Big Business Beyond the Wedding" where attendees got to meet and learn from our panel of executive event pros which included:

Christina Devlin, CMP, CMM: Events Manager for AGC Oregon-Columbia Chapter Chris

The evening began with a cocktail reception Sponsored by Vibrant Table Catering & Events where attendees got to nibble and taste northwest fare while engaging with other industry pros. Once most attendees arrived we welcomed everyone to introduce themselves one by one to the group. Allowing us all to essentially "meet" each person there, one by one. Hearing their name, company name and title truly allowed us all an opportunity to meet someone new. Following the reception meet and greet (which we host at every event) we shared in open discussion with a sage group of executive event planners and asked the question we all wanted to know -How do we book more business and not more wedding business? The evening was relaxed, yet professional and above all it was informative. Our panelists were engaging and knowledgeable.
